    Position Overview:
    The Procurement Analyst will act as the liaison between the supplier and the organization to procure favorable contracts as well as maintain supplier relationships.  The successful candidate will have a passion for growing and evolving within a high-volume, dynamic environment. 

    Specific Requirements:

    In this position, you will be responsible for:

    • Managing external suppliers to achieve procurement targets on price, delivery, and quality.
    • Purchasing material and services in support of operational and production requirements.
    • Identify what supplier capabilities are required to meet drawing specifications in order to assign RFQs and award POs to appropriate suppliers.
    • Working with various functional groups; including Production Planning, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to ensure business goals are met.
    • Serving and when required, leading Continuous Improvement Teams.
    • Working in a cross-functional team and fully supporting a Team environment.

     

    Education/Qualifications: 

    Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years equivalent experience. 

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • Purchasing experience preferred, including evaluating, analyzing and negotiating supplier contracts.
    • Self-disciplined with a proven track record of driving project deadlines/milestones within a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standard of compliance and quality.
    • Proven track record of learning new technologies; ERP experience (SAP) a plus.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to lead and resolve daily issues.
    • Ability to speak up as appropriate while identifying and escalating issues as required.
    • Ability to proactively anticipate business requirements and provide strategic recommendations. Strong prioritization and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining a high degree of flexibility.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication is required.
    • MS Office Suite; proficiency in Word and Excel required.
    • CPM certification a plus.

    Position Overview: This individual will own supplier relationships to include negotiations, qualification of new suppliers, and management of subcontracted suppliers.  The successful candidate will possess the ability to influence, grow and evolve within a dynamic environment. 

    Specific Requirements:

    In this position, you will be responsible for:

    • Management of the overall procurement cycle, including coordination among various functional support groups, purchase order placement, and administration of sub-contracts.
    • Management of critical, time-sensitive, and complex issues including; proposal evaluations, contract documentation, and modifications for contract changes. Will assist in the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the placement of complex subcontracts. 
    • Management of supplier performance metrics, not limited to Supplier On-Time Delivery, Purchase Price Variance, Purchase Requisition placement, Contract Overspend/NTE performance, and Cost of Poor Quality.
    • Key contributor to an integrated team environment. Responsible for coordinating and facilitating timely communication with Program Management, Engineering, Legal, Contracts, Operations, Quality, Customers, and Finance.
    • Lead supplier negotiations of cost, terms and conditions, Statements of Work, and long-term agreements. Control costs, manage cost avoidance, and perform price analysis as required.
    • Ensure compliance with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements, Government regulations, and Company policies

     

    Education/Qualifications: 

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated success in managing and executing the supply chain lifecycle process, in subcontracts, procurement, commodity management and/or material management arenas.
    • Self-disciplined with a proven track record of driving project deadlines/milestones within a dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standard of compliance and quality.
    • Effective supplier management and negotiation skills with the ability to flawlessly execute subcontracts.
    • Knowledge of government flow downs and regulations including FAR/DFAR.
    • Administer NDAs, PIAs. Understand IP and protections required.
    • Experience in managing the import and export of technical data in full compliance with export license regulations.
    • Experience working with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems; SAP experience a plus. 
    • Ability to communicate clear and concise objectives to all levels of the organization, including risks and opportunities.
    • Ability to proactively anticipate business requirements and provide strategic recommendations as it relates to the subcontracted projects.

    Material Program Manager

    Position Overview:

    As an interactive partner with the Programs Management Office, you’ll have a customer-focused approach, be a great team-builder, and be the “go-to” person for all material-related matters.  Specific responsibilities will include driving accountability and efficiency within the Supply Chain Management support team. This opportunity will afford the successful candidate the ability to influence, grow and evolve within a dynamic environment as we transform into a new corporation.

    Specific Requirements:

    In this position, you will be responsible for:

    • Serve as the Supply Chain Management focal and lead interface to the Program Management Office, responsible for coordinating all Supply Chain resources in support of program requirements.
    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of Supply Chain Management professionals consisting of Material Planning, Production Control, Procurement, and Sub Contracts.
    • Develop program material strategies and create and execute program material plans to ensure program competitiveness and performance from the front end of the business through contract closure.
    • Support all gate reviews and activities, EAC reviews, program reviews, and risk and opportunity management reviews.
    • Proposal strategies, development, and management presentations.
    • Proactive Risk and Opportunity management.
    • Drive the coordination of timely cross-functional communication with internal stakeholders.

     

    Key Activities Typically Include:

    • Financial management, EAC process, and presenting to functional leaders on overall program performance.
    • Ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, logistic issues, etc.).
    • Communication of customer flow-through requirements (i.e., FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, quality, warranty, etc.).
    • Work at the front end of the business to identify and allocate Supply Chain Management resources to support the capture plan and management of Supply Chain proposal content.
    • Report program status and communicate critical issues to internal and external customers, as well as offer solutions and implement corrective action when necessary.

    Experience/Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or Subcontract Management experience

    Technician - Shipping & Receiving

    Specific Requirements:
    In this position, a candidate is responsible for the following tasks:

    Prepares necessary shipping documentation.

    Checks arriving materials to ensure they match purchase orders.

    • Responds to basic to fairly complex customer or shipper questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.
    • Tracks and traces goods while they are en route to their destinations.
    • Physically receive incoming shipments following DOT and company requirements.
    • Process production material receipts and departmental supply receipts (non-production).
    • Pack shipments according to packing instructions for sales order shipments, material shipments for outside processes, returns of materials, etc.
    • Utilize shipping software for parcel shipments (FedEx, UPS).
    • Identify Customer Property and follow related guidelines for both receipts and shipments.
    • Process international shipments with guidance.
    • Communicate processing issues to appropriate parties to gain resolution.
    • Coordinate shipments using LTL and special carriers (obtain quotes, schedule pickups, and coordinate return shipments).
    • Enter transactional data, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues by deep diving root cause and escalating to IT partners and/or external vendors where applicable.
    • Partners with Industrial Engineering on packaging strategies.

     

    Education/Qualifications: 

    • Minimum 4 years Warehouse experience or
    • Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and/or 2 years of relevant experience.  

     

    Experience/Qualifications: 

    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
    • Previous experience in administrating inventory count programs
    • SAP experience is preferred
    • May work with or near hazardous substances  
    • Position requires bending, stretching, ladder climbing, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
