Hello, Danbury APICS Chapter members and friends,

I hope you are all doing well and keeping yourselves and your loved ones safe! It’s been a year for the books, to be sure!

We have adjusted, as everyone has, to the limitations of the Covid-19 pandemic, and kept a full schedule of PDM’s and member activities in the virtual world. Thanks to those of you who have taken advantage of our online “Lunch and Learn” webinars, and to those who haven’t yet, consider joining us! It helps to keep your skillset sharp, and current. We have these scheduled well into next year and have been partnering with the Fairfield and New Haven Chapters on others. We typically send out email announcements on these, so watch your inbox!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted – in fact, this is only my second ‘official’ newsletter since I became President of the Chapter back in July. I’d first like to thank those who are currently serving on the Board of Directors with me and extend a special Thank You to Doug Stevens, who took over my old role as VP of membership, in an attempt to enjoy his retirement a little more. Doug has selflessly given many, many years to the Chapter, serving on the Board (pretty much continuously) and as an instructor. Thanks, Doug, for all that you’ve contributed!

APICS is now flying the ASCM banner, as I’m sure most of you know, and the evolution of the organization is proceeding. I will have news on how the chapters will evolve going forward in the not-too-distant future, so stay tuned.

Let me wish you and yours a safe, healthy, and Happy Holiday Season on behalf of the BOD and the Danbury Chapter!

    Best Regards,

    Gary L Anderson

    Chapter President
